Early snow tapering to spotty freezing rain & plain rain


The system with light snow & spotty freezing rain this morning will taper off early on, but there are slick areas. Be careful! Spotty rain today & unsettled with rain at times through early Friday as temperatures moderate! A break Friday afternoon & Saturday before another system comes through Sunday with rain changing to ice & snow.

Early this morning: Snow tapering to snow showers & spotty freezing rain. A coating to 1.5″. Lows in the low 30s.

Today: Slippery spots early! Spotty freezing rain inland changing to spotty plain rain by 9AM. Scattered rain showers at times Highs in the 30s to around 40.

Tomorrow: Rainy and mild. Rain briefly tapers off late afternoon with more rain at night. Highs in the 40s to near 50 degrees.

Friday: Early rain tapering off & mostly cloudy with highs in the 40s to about 50.

Saturday: Limited sun to clouds with highs in the 40s.

Sunday: Rain developing & changing to an icy & snowy mix across northern Connecticut, breezy and chilly with highs in the 30s. Rain to snow statewide by evening & at night!

Monday: Early snow tapering off. Clearing, breezy and colder with highs in the 30s early then falling to the 20s.

Tuesday: Sun and clouds with highs in the upper 20s & lower 30s.
