UNA star WR Takairee Kenebrew returning for seventh season

FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) — Huge news for UNA football on Monday night as star wide receiver Takairee Kenebrew announced on social media that he is returning for a seventh season.

In this year’s season finale against Florida State, Kenebrew set the program record for career touchdown catches with 26. He was the Lions’ leading receiver this past season with 669 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Former Alabama quarterback Julian Sayin transferring to Ohio State

Kenebrew started his career as a redshirt in 2018 and played just two games. He missed the 2019 and 2020 seasons due to injuries.
